Program Description

The UIC College of Pharmacy will be hosting an inaugural summit with the intent to assemble pharmacy academic leaders, faculty members, and diversity and inclusion professionals to begin a conversation about the challenges of advancing and fostering diversity and inclusion in pharmacy education. The overall purpose is to make diversity and inclusion a greater priority in the education and training of future pharmacy professionals and researchers. The initial goal for this summit is to identify and share best practices and establish guidelines for diversity and inclusion for pharmacy and other health professions.
